Location!
Location means a lot to a photo session, but it is not everything. However, your vision for your photo session matters, and the location you choose is important. What a great state we live in for a variety of breathtaking places that are perfect for photography! Below we will discuss a few different choices. While these aren't the only places I photograph, and I am always scouting for the next perfect spot, these old standby locations are my tried and true go tos!
Little Mullberry Park
Located in Dacula, Ga, this huge park is full of nature and beautiful paved trails around the lake. There are multiple park entrances to this park, but it is always sure to give amazing light in the golden hour!
Downtown Lawrenceville
If you prefer a more industrial/urban feel for your photos, the downtown Lawrenceville area could be the place for you. There are many brick buildings, some murals, and you can achieve an eclectic and artsy vibe in this location!
Prospect Farms
Located in Lawrenceville, Ga near Dacula this photography farm requires an advance booking and a fee depending on the location/setups you choose. They have open fields, multiple set ups outdoors, a natural light indoor studio, green house, the ability to photograph with highland cows and goats, and they provide themed setups throughout the year. Booking this venue for photography will incur an additional fee greater than our regular session costs. The farms fees are dependent on what area of the farm or seasonal set you are using.
Freeman's Mill Park
Located in Lawrenceville, Ga close to Dacula, Ga this park has it all! Wooded and shaded, paved walking trails, an old mill complete with the wheel, a river, and a WATERFALL! This park is always a stunning show of nature and guaranteed to give you a beautiful backdrop for your photos!
These are just a few of my favorite local locations for photography. Keep in mind our session fee includes a 15 mile travel radius from Dacula, Ga. I am happy to collaborate with you to find the absolute perfect session location to complete your vision.
